Dreams FC came from behind to beat Nungua Danbort by two goals to one on sunday afternoon at the Nungua town park in a highly entertaining game.
The game started on a pacy note with full of midfield action where Dreams FC's enforcer Bobie Ansah was a delight to watch with his incisive passes.
Danbort who were playing at home drew first blood in the 17th minute through Benjamin Abban who connected a beautiful cross from the right with the Dreams FC goalkeeper Abdul Mumin left stranded
From then it was a one way traffic with Dreams FC dictating the pace of the game and in one quick attack in the 20th minute, Abdul Raman Gida managed to outwit his marker to set up Cudjoe Mensah who placed the ball at the blind side of Danbort goalie Robert Patey to make it 1-1
The away side could have made it two in the space of three minutes as Cudjoe Mensah beat his marker and laid a pass for Emmanuel Anaba but the midfielder failed to move allowing the Danbort keeper to grab the ball
Dreams FC continued their dominance in the second half with Kweku Boamah remaining resolute in defense .
They got their second goal through a quick counter attack which started from the middle.
Samuel Asiedu alias Nana sei beat his marker and switched play to the left flank where Joseph Aggrey delivered a pinpoint cross for lone ranger Abdul Bassit to blast the ball into the net.
Substitute Ismael Musah could have made it three during the final minutes of the game but hit his shot at the edge of the box over the bar
