Ghanaian striker John Antwi scored twice to help his Club Ismaily to beat Alaab Damanhour 2-1 in the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.
The 22-year-old Dreams FC product broke the deadlock in the 35th minute before adding the second in the 54th minute before Mohamed Nasr however pulled one back for the away side in the 57th minute from the penalty spot.
Antwi has been outstanding for Ismaily this season in the Egyptian Premier League scoring 13 goals so far to lead the goal scorers’ chart.
The two goals have increased his tally to twelve goals in the season after 12 games into the campaign. Antwi is on the quest to retain the goal king title he won last season. Ismaily now sit sixth on the 20 club League table.
